It covers the English and verbal reasoning side of the 11+: vocabulary, reading comprehension, spelling, punctuation and grammar (SPAG), verbal reasoning question types, creative writing, and timed mock papers modelled on GL, Kent, CEM and ISEB formats. It does not cover maths or non-verbal reasoning, so most families use it alongside a maths resource.
Children aged 9 to 11 — Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6. Most families start 12 to 18 months before the exam, which usually means the start of Year 5.
Grammar school entrance tests and independent school admissions tests across the UK, including GL Assessment papers, the Kent Test, CEM-style tests and the ISEB Common Pre-Test. Mock exams are modelled on each format, and you can set your target exam in the app.
All three names mean the same exam. "11+" is the usual written form, "11 plus" is how most parents type it into a search box, and "eleven plus" is the spelled-out version still used by some councils and schools. Whichever your area uses, it refers to the same grammar school entrance and independent school admissions tests taken in Year 6.
